“I knew there was a call on my life to become a missionary since I was a young girl. In the past, I have been on short term trips to Romania and China and this is where my heart and passion for overseas missions was ignited.

After completing my teacher training as a Primary school teacher in Northern Ireland, I first visited Cambodia in 2016 and very quickly sensed that God had greater plans for my life there. I moved to Cambodia in 2019 for 1 year as a long term volunteer and then I completed my Elim Missionary training and returned to Cambodia in 2022 as a full time Elim Missionary.

During those initial years in Cambodia I lived and served in Phnom Penh, working closely with Elim Cambodia. I was part of the church leadership team, a teacher for the different ministries there and I had the opportunity to serve out in village areas. All of these experiences helped me settle into life in Cambodia, learn the language, learn the culture of the country and more about ministry and church life.

In 2025, I got married to my husband Sarun, who is Cambodian and this brought about a big change in my life. Sensing that there were many more places and people in Cambodia who had not yet been reached by the gospel, I prayerfully made the decision to move to Siem Reap. Siem Reap is in the North West of Cambodia and it is now where I live and serve with my husband.

The main areas of ministry that I am involved with here are:

• Building new relationships and connections in the local community
• Serving in village areas where there are unreached people and the gospel has not yet gone to
• Using my education background to help teach English, bible studies and life skills to different groups of people
• Working alongside and helping local leaders and pastors in their ministries. For example: preaching at their church, providing training and sharing ideas and experiences in ministry and church life
• Discipling younger Christians and continuing Bible studies with some of the staff that I worked with in Phnom Penh Elim.

In all that I do, the main purpose of my ministry and life in Cambodia is to make Jesus Christ known to those who don’t yet know their Saviour
