Biography
After working for 10 years as a worship leader in a church in the UK, I felt God challenging me to put into practice what I was singing and to “give Him my all” by going to Romania. I have to confess that missions wasn’t really on my agenda, but I agreed to go for a year—and have been here since 2010!
Over that time, God has given me a deep love for Romania and a growing passion for His mission in the world. I love living life in Romania—sharing in the rhythms of the community, building relationships, and being alongside people in both the everyday and the meaningful moments.
I am part of Deo Gloria Church in Hunedoara, where I lead the worship team, serve on the youth team, and am part of the church leadership. We have recently moved into a new building in the centre of town and are excited about the opportunities this gives us to connect more with our community—especially young people. We run an annual evangelistic summer camp for youth, along with regular activities throughout the year to support their discipleship journey.
I have recently completed an MA in Mission and Leadership, focusing on developing lay leaders in the local church in Romania, and I am excited to see how this will shape and strengthen my work in the coming months and years.
I am also part of the teaching teams for EnRoute Romania (a cross-cultural missions course) and History Makers Romania (a leadership development course for young people).
