And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.’

Reeve's Supporters Newsletter December 2021
Happy Christmas One & All!

We and the Coron team want to thank you for your continued support, sponsorship, and prayers throughout 2021.

We also want to give a special thanks for all the generous donations to help make this year’s Christmas special for those we minister to through the school, children’s clubs, church, and community outreaches. It has made a huge difference to the lives of individuals and families here on Coron. THANK YOU to Birmingham City Church, Northampton Elim Church, Stafford Elim Hope Church, and the individuals who gave specifically for the Christmas outreaches. We could not have blessed so many people without your help.

We pray you have a really blessed Christmas and year ahead in 2022.

Christmas Outreaches & Parties

This year we held 10 Christmas parties in each of the areas where we hold children’s clubs.

The school children are also all attending the children’s clubs and so were included in the Christmas parties. We have seen a growth in numbers at all the children’s clubs throughout 2021 and it has been amazing to see God growing his Kingdom here.

The children had an amazing time playing games, interacting with the Christmas story and a completing craft activity. Because of your generous donations we were able to give prizes for the games, delicious food and loot bags (treat bags) for all the children.

5During the parties we asked the adults who attend the small groups/bible studies to join us and we had games for them to enjoy also. They seemed to have as much fun as the children!

6We are thankful to the youth and church members who volunteered with the parties and who are regularly helping and growing in their abilities as leaders.

Go tell it on the mountain

This year the Christmas story was told from the perspective of the shepherds, and we asked all the children in the different children’s clubs to learn a song and dance. They enjoyed learning and preforming the song and dance at the Christmas Parties.

Food distribution

We are so thankful for your donations which are enabling us to plan to distribute special food packs at Christmas to all the families in the school, children’s clubs, adult small groups and church. This will be such a blessing to them at this special time of year.

Christmas Church services

This year we are able to invite the small group members and their families from the different areas to join our regular Sunday church services. Each area will come on a different Sundays throughout December to ensure we meet the Covid protocols. We are looking forward to the school children and parents joining us on 26th December when Principal and fellow missionary Lynette will be visiting and will be sharing the message for them.

Praise and Prayer

Thank you for your prayers.

  • We praise God for the growth in the children’s clubs and small adult groups during 2021. Please pray that God continues to work in their lives.
  • We thank God for the successful re opening of City Gates Academy and for the children enjoying their lessons and their ability to access much needed education.
