It's officially rainy season here in the Philippines, and we've discovered that the loudest residents in Coron aren't the people, they're the frogs!

The other evening, we were walking home after our Youth Games Night when we heard this deep, booming sound echoing through the darkness. It honestly sounded like a field full of cows had somehow appeared over the fence. We stood there wondering where on earth the cows had come from... until we realised there aren't any cows nearby!

After a few puzzled moments, it finally clicked, it was the frogs. Every time the rain comes at night, they put on quite the concert. I have to admit, I rather like it. It's a cheerful reminder that creation responds to the rain, and I like to imagine the frogs praising God for it.

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!" — Psalm 150:6

CHURCH IN TOWN UPDATE

We're so excited to update you on the church building in town! Thank you so much for your prayers, we finally have a contract. When we first arrived in Coron, we found a building that we loved, but it was difficult to get in touch with the owner. Recently, we were able to meet with them and view the property properly. Since then, we've been finalising the contract and are now ready to sign it.

We're so excited about what God is doing and can't wait to see how He will use this new space to reach more people in the heart of the town. Thank you for standing with us in prayer throughout this journey.

NEW YOUTH GAMES NIGHT UPDATE

We've recently refreshed our Youth Games Night by beginning a new series through the Gospel of Mark and setting aside more time for Bible study and discussion. As we've got to know the young people better, we've discovered they come from many different religious backgrounds. It's been encouraging to see their curiosity and willingness to engage with God's Word, with thoughtful questions and honest conversations each week. We're grateful for the opportunity to build relationships and share the hope of Jesus with them.
