"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning." – Lamentations 3:22–23

Life often brings seasons we would never choose. Sometimes they are filled with joy and celebration, while at other times they are marked by uncertainty, change, or sorrow. Yet one truth remains constant: God's faithfulness never changes.

As I enter a different season over the next few months, I have been reminded that God doesn't only walk with us on the mountaintops—He is just as present in the valleys. His grace is sufficient for every day, and His mercies are exactly what we need for the moment we are in.

Whatever season you may be facing today, my prayer is that you would know His peace, experience His presence, and find fresh hope in the assurance that He is always faithful.

Christmas

Christmas 2025

ChristmasI felt incredibly blessed to be home for the Christmas season. In previous years, I had flown home around 22nd December, arriving just in time for Christmas Day but missing the build-up and festive celebrations that I have come to realise are such an important part of the season, especially the carol service.

Being home earlier also gave me the opportunity to volunteer and support some of the Christmas outreach activities at Rugby Elim, my home church. It was a real privilege to serve alongside others and be part of sharing the love and hope of Christmas with the local community.

On Christmas Day itself, I had the privilege of bringing the Word at Rugby Elim Church before heading over to the hospital to collect my Dad. We were so thankful that he had been discharged and was able to come home and celebrate Christmas with us. He even managed to enjoy two Christmas dinners, so as you can imagine, he was very happy!

New Opportunities

opportunitiesLast March, we partnered with Shalom Birthing Centre to provide seminars on women’s health, followed by essential health screenings. More than 40 women took part. It was a wonderful outreach opportunity, allowing us to serve and provide much-needed health services to women in the Philippines. We are grateful for the impact this has already had and are pleased to have further opportunities already planned for the future.

Graduations SY2025-2026

graduationsGraduation season is one of my favourite times of the year. It is a special opportunity to celebrate and reflect on everything that has been achieved throughout the year. It is always wonderful to see the progress the children have made over the course of the school year.

Overseeing three schools can make it challenging to attend every graduation, but this year I was able to join both the Antipolo and Bambang celebrations. Bambang was celebrating its third batch of graduates since reopening and since I became involved, while Antipolo was celebrating its third batch of Grade 6 graduates. I am so encouraged to see how these schools are continuing to grow and develop, despite the challenges they each face.

Home Assignment

home1-2For the next few months, life will look a little different for me. With the support of Elim Missions and the City Gates Academy Board, I am grateful to be on home assignment during this season. This time will allow me to spend precious time with my dad, who has recently been diagnosed with two cancers affecting several areas of his body.

Alongside being with my family, I will continue working on behalf of City Gates Academy and promoting its ministry across the UK. I have already been blessed with a number of opportunities to share about the work of the academy, and my prayer is that these opportunities will help raise greater awareness and increase sponsorship, enabling us to continue providing education and hope to the children and families we serve.

Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support during this season. They mean more than words can express.
