John & Rachel McDonough

We have both been involved in overseas missions since 2002. John served in an Ecuadorian children's home in 2002/2003 and Rachel worked with Elim Honduras in 2005. Both our experiences in South America gave us a real passion for the continent.

We moved to work full time in Paraguay in 2009 and 2010-12 we served with Elim Honduras, supporting the youth work doing some administration and helping with Project Joseph, the children outreach program.

In September 2012 we moved back to Paraguay to pioneer a ministry reaching those who have not yet heard the gospel. We studied the Guarani language so that we could better share the Gospel and we are now working amongst Guarani indigenous people.

“We feel privileged to be serving our God in this continent and are excited to see how He uses us to be salt and light to the young people we encounter”.
