Turn vision into action at Limitless Oxygen 2026
What could youth and children's ministry look like if your whole team had the space to stop, think, dream and decide what comes next? Limitless Oxygen returns on Saturday 10 October to help teams do exactly that.
There is no shortage of good intentions when it comes to reaching and discipling the next generation.
We want children and young people to encounter Jesus. We want our ministries to reach beyond the walls of the church. We want to respond to the needs we see in our communities, grow in mission and justice, and help young people live out a faith that makes a difference.
But turning those hopes into something practical can be much harder.
That is what Limitless Oxygen is for.
Run by Limitless, Elim's youth and children's ministry, Oxygen takes place at nine venues across Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England on Saturday 10 October 2026. It is a learning community for youth and children's ministry teams. Experienced hosts guide teams through the day, with expert input, bespoke tools and plenty of space for conversation, helping your team leave with a plan that fits your church, your community and your young people.
Define, dream, decide
So how do you get from a good idea to real change? In the video below, Limitless National Director Tim Alford explains how Oxygen helps teams take "breaking out" in mission and justice from aspiration to reality.
True to its name, Oxygen gives teams room to breathe. It is a day away from the demands of weekly ministry to ask some bigger questions together, built around three simple steps.
Define where you are now. What is working well? Who are we reaching, and who are we not yet reaching?
Dream about what could be. What could ministry look like in our context?
Decide on practical steps for the future. What matters most, and where do we start?
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all model, Oxygen helps each team think about its own church, community and young people. Together they can begin shaping plans that are realistic and relevant to where God has placed them. As one delegate put it, "A lot of what was said was bang on for where we've been over the last while."
Previous delegates have particularly valued that mix of inspiration and practical application.
"My team all felt engaged and challenged, and are thinking about how we can put some of this into practice."
Bring the team, not just the leader
That emphasis on the whole youth and children's ministry team, from those who lead to the volunteers who make it all happen, is at the heart of Oxygen.
Healthy ministries are rarely built by one person carrying all the vision. They grow through teams who pray, talk, dream and take responsibility together, and equipping the whole team can strengthen the ministry they offer to the next generation.
Giving a team dedicated time for those conversations can make a significant difference. That dedicated time is especially valuable when the normal rhythm of programmes, planning and Sunday mornings leaves little space to think about the bigger picture. One delegate described Oxygen as "a valuable time of personal input, practical equipping and building and strengthening relationships within the team."
Past delegates speak just as warmly about the worship and teaching as they do about the practical tools.
"It was an awesome time in God's presence. The worship was uplifting, the Word was thought-provoking and very profound."
One experienced youth leader went further, calling Oxygen:
"One of (if not the) best youth leaders days I've been at during 15 years of youth leadership."
What could be different a year from now?
Perhaps your team already has a clear vision but needs help turning it into a plan.
Perhaps ministry is going well, but you sense there are children or young people in your community you are not yet reaching.
Perhaps you want mission, evangelism or social action to become a more natural part of your ministry, but you are unsure where to begin.
Or perhaps you simply need some space as a team to listen, pray and think seriously about the year ahead.
Oxygen creates that space and helps your team leave with practical steps to start turning vision into reality.
Bring your team. Dream boldly. Talk honestly. Decide what comes next.
