An ordinary week, two extraordinary decisions
As Clacton Elim works to strengthen its culture of evangelism, David Baker shares an encouraging glimpse of what God is doing.
Not every encouraging story begins with a special event or a big outreach initiative. Sometimes, it’s an ordinary week in the life of a local church.
At Clacton Elim, David Baker and the church team have begun a journey with Mark Greenwood and Elim Evangelism that will run over several months, helping people grow in confidence as they share their faith with friends and others they know.
The church has already seen encouraging growth, but David believes God has much more in store for the people they will reach.
David said: “It was an average week. It wasn't anything special or particular, but the amazing thing that we had was we had two people who wanted to give their lives to Jesus, and one was so convinced he says, ‘I need to do it now, right now.’”
In this short video, David shares why the church is encouraged and looking forward with fresh expectation.
