ELIM RELIEF APPEAL LAUNCHED FOR THE MIDDLE EAST

Following the fall of the Assad regime in Syria in December 2024, violence has broken out against minority groups such as the Druze and Alawites. More recently, many reports have come out of Syria of escalating persecution against Christians. In June, a Greek Orthodox church was attacked by a suicide bomber, killing 25 people and wounding 63 others. In July, we heard of the murder of Pastor Khaled, an Elim local partner, along with twelve members of his family
Elim has been working with those fleeing persecution in Syria and supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ through partners in the region, but in response to this rise in persecution, we need to do more. Therefore, we are launching an Elim Relief Appeal (ERA) to raise money so we can provide essential support and supplies to those affected.
