Join us for the Elim National Day of Prayer

We are calling our Elim Movement to pray together at the commencement of the new year on Sunday 8 January 2023.

As we advance into 2023, we are reminded that 7 January is a notable date in Elim's history. It was the day we saw our movement's founding over a century ago, in 1915.

Though Elim was birthed in a challenging historical context, it did so with a demonstration of God's supernatural love, power and grace. So at the start of the new year, the day after our founder's day, let's pray together and join in with what God is doing across the world's nations.

Will you join the call?

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1

Together, we are all commissioned to advance our incredible and purposeful mission, seeing the gospel's love and power to change lives and transform the world.

In 2023, we look forward to seeing a continued demonstration of that good news impacting our lives, churches and the communities we are called to.

So let's unite and pray that we will be inspired and empowered to see God's kingdom established in power and truth in the year ahead.

What to expect

The Elim National Day of Prayer will focus on the significance of seeing Awakening, Alignment, Advance and Acceleration in the year ahead.

This national day will include an online prayer event led by members of our National Leadership Team and Elim Prayer, with worship from Elim Sound, hosted by the team at Elim Life Church, North Birmingham.

The event will be streamed on the Elim YouTube channel from 7-9pm, allowing you to gather your church to pray together in your building, in home groups and as families in their homes.

The prayer gathering is also open to everyone to join us in person, so if your church community is within easy travelling distance of Elim Life Church, North Birmingham, they are welcome to attend. Doors open at 6.30pm.

So make plans now to get ready for a significant time of prayer and worship on the Elim National Day of Prayer.

We look forward to you and your church joining us to pray, together as one movement, for the Elim National Day of Prayer on Sunday 8 January 2023, including our live stream prayer event from 7-9pm.
