Uniting Elim in prayer this September

Join us for Engage Prayer on 27-29 September 2022

We believe that God is Enlarging Hearts & Breaking Ground all across Elim as we seek to partner with Him in becoming more mission hearted.

So we will use this as our theme for our next Engage Prayer events when we bring together the Elim movement to pray over three days from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 September. Together we will pray and seek God for the Elim movement, locally, nationally and to the nations.

Enlarging Hearts & Breaking Ground comes from a two-fold prophetic word the Elim Prayer team have used as their prayer focus.

Starting in Isaiah 54:2, “Enlarge the place of our tent. Lengthen the cords, strengthen the stakes.” We acknowledged that there is a process of enlarging our hearts before God can break new ground. We need to uproot the stakes first, and lengthen the cords before taking new ground and seeing the fulness of His Kingdom expressed (Isaiah 54:3)

Uniting the Elim movement together in prayer

Please make plans now to join with Elim churches and leaders across the nations as we unite in prayer on 27-29 September. Save these dates and watch out for more news on how your church can be involved. Here’s a taster of what we have planned.

Morningsw

We'll start every day with morning devotions and prayer. Join us on Facebook  Tuesday to Thursday at 7.30am.

On Tuesday evening, join our Equip Panel hosted by Carl and Dani Johnston (Letchworth Garden City Church), where guests will bring a prophetic focus and practical insight for the movement as we step into prayer for the coming season. Watch on YouTube at elim.org.uk/youtube.

A private leader's prayer session takes place online during the day on Wednesday, which will be a time of pause and refreshing that is always a blessing. Details will be supplied by your regional team.

As part of a national Elim initiative, we are being encouraged to host Alpha across as many churches, groups and situations as possible this autumn. So on Wednesday evening Mark Greenwood will host Engage Alpha, a live stream event to allow us to hear from a range of people involved so we can pray wise and targeted prayers. Watch on YouTube at elim.org.uk/youtube.

To conclude our three days of Engage Prayer, on Thursday evening we will host a live event at Rediscover Church, Exeter, as well as stream the event online. This evening of prayer and worship allows your church to gather locally to engage with the live stream or attend in person. Each of our Engage Prayer evenings has seen God speak and minister powerfully both to those who attend in person and to churches who watch online. Watch on YouTube at elim.org.uk/youtube.
