Engage Prayer night and 7 days of prayer resources

On Thursday 12 March 2020, Elim Prayer is hosting another Elim national online prayer meeting from 7.30pm-9.00pm. The aim of the evening is for everyone in Elim to pray together for the Kingdom and for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.

It is powerful when we join together and pray, aligning our prayers with God’s Kingdom purpose. We will do that on the night, followed by 7 days of united prayer, where we'll publish daily inspiration to guide your prayers.

How to get involved

Join in online wherever you are in the world. You can stream it in your home, on your phone, in small groups or to the whole church! There will be live online interaction, Spirit led prayer, worship and intercession where we welcome God to speak to us prophetically.

New for March 2020

We will launch a 7 Day prayer campaign following the Engage Prayer event to encourage united prayer to continue across the Elim movement.

‘If My People’ will focus on 2 Chronicles 7:14 and will encourage each of us to pray personally, for our local setting and intercede for the global picture. This will be shared via social media, emailed to our prayer email list and these resources can be downloaded below.

To help you promote Engage Prayer within your churches and across your social media platforms, you can download a 60 second promo video and a ‘Save the Date’ image, as well as PowerPoint screens and other media you can use and share.

Please use the hashtag #engageprayer and share where you will be gathering on Thursday 12 March.

Leaders Guide

  • The prayer meeting will be streamed live online 7.30pm-9.00pm.
  • On the day go to elim.org.uk/prayer and click the LIVE NOW button to join in.
  • There will be live sung worship. We encourage you to join in and the words will appear on the screen. Please note the volume levels may vary so we recommend someone monitoring and adjusting as necessary.
  • There will be online hosts helping to facilitate the prayer sessions. In those sections we encourage you to pray together in your groups and as a church. You will then be welcomed back to join in with online front-led prayer and worship. This will be the flow of the evening.
  • We want to be led by the Spirit. As we are praying, we are also listening to what God is saying and showing us. Please share appropriately in your group and pray into what God reveals.
  • There will be times when you will be encouraged to pray specifically into your local setting. Why not share some requests, split into smaller groups in these sections and pray into those personal and local requests?
  • There is an online chat room for you to share any prayer requests. We have online Pastors who will be interacting and praying through the evening. Why not appoint 1 or 2 people to be responsible for this on the night?
  • On the night take a picture of your gathering and post it on social media using the hashtag #engageprayer. We would love to give a shout out to as many places as possible on the night. After the event, you can also email these to us.
  • Please share your answered prayers or anything prophetic God is showing to prayer@elim.org.uk as we want to keep encouraging the movement in prayer beyond the event.
