Four opportunities to unite in prayer

From September to December, churches and individuals across Elim are invited to join Christians across the nations in four significant opportunities to pray.

Global Week of Prayer: 6–13 September

The Global Week of Prayer will unite Christians in non-stop prayer across the nations. Organised by 24-7 Prayer, this year's theme, At the Name of Jesus, is rooted in Philippians 2:9–11. Churches can take part by creating a prayer room, joining an existing initiative or setting aside time to pray together.

National Week of Prayer: 10–18 October

The National Week of Prayer will bring together Christians from across denominations, churches, schools, workplaces and homes throughout the British Isles. Under the theme Gather. Remember. Return., people are being encouraged to humble themselves before God, remember His faithfulness and return to Him, praying for spiritual awakening across our nations. Churches can host a gathering, join one nearby or use the free prayer resources provided.

Pray for the Nations: 1 November

On Sunday 1 November at 6pm, Elim Missions and Elim Prayer will host Pray for the Nations, marking the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

Available online and in person at City Church Cardiff, the gathering will share voices and stories from the global church and create space to pray for Christians who face hardship, persecution and danger because of their faith. Together, we will pray for strength, healing and the power of God to be revealed.

Daily Advent prayers throughout December

During December, Elim Prayer will share a new prayer video each day across Elim's social media channels. Featuring a wide range of voices from across the movement, the series will help us pause, pray and prepare our hearts as we journey through Advent and celebrate the coming of Jesus.
