Great start to the new Church Leadership Academy
This October saw the launch of the Church Leadership Academy, an Elim Training course that takes Elim leaders on a challenging leadership journey over a period of two years.
This new learning community is designed specifically for those leaders who want to become more intentional about moving their church forward into the next season, enhancing both the health and growth of their church.
Gathering Elim ministers and leadership teams from across the nation to learn and plan together, the academy is lead by a team of experienced senior Elim ministers. These include Steve Ball, Dave Ayling, Mark Ryan and Jason Heron.
The first sessions saw teams from Elim churches participating in seminars and workshops that both challenged and inspired them to take action in developing inspiring vision and clear strategies for growth.
‘Taking time out to think through important aspects of leading our churches and thinking strategically is not time wasted. It is often something that gets lost in the busyness of church life. [The Church Leadership Academy] A real investment in the future health of our churches.’
‘It is well worth investing in the Leadership Academy. This has given us new vision and structured development strategies to take our ministries and church to a higher level.’
Taking place across four residentials over two years, the Church Leadership Academy continues with its next event held in March 2017.
