Aspire is run by a small and committed team. We are passionate about serving God, and supporting His women of influence within our Movement.


Leanne Mallett

National Aspire Leader

Leanne is married to Darren and has two children, Abigail and Jack. Although originally from Cardiff she currently serves alongside her husband who pastors the Elim Church in Hereford. Leanne's passion is to equip, encourage and enable women to rise up in their giftings and callings.


Jem Chesman Aspire National Team

Jem Chesman is a member of Aspire’s National team. Jem was the assistant Pastor at City Gates Ilford until recently being relocated. Jem now serves alongside her husband leading the Elim Church in Chiswick. One of Jem’s greatest joys is to work with women of all ages, from all backgrounds. She is a passionate communicator who thrives on encouraging and equipping women to realise their incredible value and to fulfil their God-given potential! Jem loves being married to Pete and a mum to Reuben.


Julia Derbyshire Aspire Regional Coordinator for the Metropolitan East Region

Julia works alongside her husband leading the City Gates, Ilford. She is passionate about reaching all women, of all nations and ages, through different expressions. She is a mum of 3 young adult children and a very proud grandmother.


Beryl Glass Aspire Regional Coordinator for Scotland

Beryl is married to James and is mum to Jonny, Alice and Niall. They pastor the Elim Church in Glasgow Scotland. She’s a gifted speaker and worship leader with a heart for women. She enjoys being with her family, walking in the countryside and writing songs with an old guitar!


Julia Lawton Aspire Regional Coordinator for the North East Region

Julia was married at 19 and widowed at 30, being left with three little boys. After becoming a Christian, Julia met and married Simon and together they have two daughters. Julia now works alongside Simon and they lead the Elim Church in Selly Oak, Birmingam. After living in failure for over 30 years God stepped in and set her free and since then she has been on an amazing journey with Him.


Jo Marks

Jo is married to Justin and they have 2 sons. Jo is on the pastoral team at the Elim Lighthouse Church in Manchester. She is a trained speech and Language therapist and holds conferences in her field. She also speaks at Women's events and runs the women's ministry , warrior women, at the Lighthouse Church.


Kate Martin

Kate is married to Dan and they have two daughters. They attend the Elim Church in Cardiff where Kate regularly preaches. Kate is a primary school teacher and also co runs ' Truth not Trash' - a clothing brand that displays positive truth statements . Kate speaks at Women's events and conferences and is is a great communicator. She is passionate about reaching this generation with the Love of Jesus.


Jackie Walker

Jackie is married to Dave and they lead the Elim Church in Romsey. They have one daughter. Jackie is very involved in Church life and leads the women's ministry at the Church. She also speaks at Women's events and is known for her creative gifting.


Katie Wright

Katie is an advocate for hope, she has a really heart for women and the healing of the broken-hearted. Katie is passionate about people and is involved in local community projects through her church Plymouth Christian Centre, where she leads the Women’s Ministry. Katie and her husband Paul, the associate minister, have been married for 16 years and have two girls Amelia and Olivia.
