Discover the Holy Spirit: free new course from the Elim Pentecostal Church now available

Have you ever longed for more of God’s presence, more spiritual depth, or more confidence in your faith?

The Elim Pentecostal Church has launched the Holy Spirit Course, a free, seven-part video series designed to help people discover who the Holy Spirit is and learn how to live daily in his presence and power. Whether you are new to faith, have followed Jesus for years, or feel spiritually stuck, all seven sessions are available now at  holyspiritcourse.com.

You can stream online or download the videos, and access printable guides to use in a church setting, a small group, or on your own.

Why now?

Many Christians have heard about the Holy Spirit, but still feel unsure how to experience his help and comfort in everyday life. Mark Pugh, Elim’s General Superintendent, said: “Many Christians today feel spiritually dry or uncertain about the Holy Spirit. They have heard about him, but never truly experienced his presence and power. The Holy Spirit Course is a timely and accessible invitation for the church to be empowered again by the Spirit.”

What the course covers

Written by author and Elim minister Eric Gaudion, and presented by Duncan Clark and Shirene Agbelusi (co-leaders of Coventry Elim Church), each session blends biblical teaching, honest testimony, and practical guidance you can apply straight away.

Across seven sessions, you’ll explore:

  • Who the Holy Spirit is
  • Being filled with the Holy Spirit
  • The gifts of the Spirit, including prophecy, healing, faith, discernment, and more
  • The fruit of the Spirit and how the Spirit shapes Christlike character
  • How to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with pastoral help for common fears and questions
  • Living by the Spirit day by day

Completely free, for everyone

There are no licensing fees and no hidden costs. The course is designed for church-wide series, small groups, and individual study.

A timely season to run it

With Easter Sunday (5 April 2026) and Pentecost Sunday (24 May 2026) on the horizon, many churches will find this an ideal season to explore the Holy Spirit together. The course can also be run at any time of year.

Go deeper with the companion book Power-For-Living-book

For those who want to explore further, Eric Gaudion’s book Power for Living expands on the course themes for personal study or group discussion. Eric Gaudion writes: “Power for Living isn’t just another book about theology. It is a gateway to experiencing the same power that transformed frightened disciples into world-changers.”

The book is available to purchase on the Holy Spirit Course website for £9.99.
