You're invited: Regents Theological College Graduation 2023

On Saturday 4 November, Regents Theological College will be hosting their annual Graduation Celebration at Worcester Cathedral

As Regents Theological College celebrates another year of ‘training leaders and transforming lives’, they are thrilled to be holding their annual Graduation Celebration once again in the magnificent setting of Worcester Cathedral.

57 students will be recognised for the remarkable achievements they have made whilst studying with us: 6 postgraduates and 34 undergraduates will receive degrees through the University of Chester, Regents academic partner, with a further 17 Ministry Foundation Certificate students who have successfully completed the Regents course as many of them start their journey to becoming ordained Elim ministers.

Dave Newton, Regents Principal and Elim’s Director of Training said, “Graduation is a highlight in our college year, as we proudly celebrate all that the students have achieved. Regents are committed to preparing women and men for long-lasting ministry in the Elim Movement, the wider Church, and the world beyond, and at Regents, we get to play a small part in equipping those people to that end.”

Graduation really is a celebration as we gather to give thanks to God, to worship, and to be together as a body of His disciples in a cathedral that has been a place offering worship to God since the building was begun in 1084. It is a privilege to walk in those prayerful footsteps, even if it’s just for a day in 2023.

We are also privileged to welcome Stuart Blount, Director of Ministry for the Elim Pentecostal Churches, who will give the address to the graduating students. Stuart is always an inspiration, holding dear to the Word of God in his encouragement and wisdom.

And as the students graduate, the Apostle Paul’s words, in his Second Letter to Timothy, are as clear today as they were in AD 67: ‘All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.’ 2 Timothy 3: 16-17

Or as the Psalmist writes: ‘Let me dwell on Your decrees, and let me look upon Your paths. In Your statutes I delight, I shall not forget Your word.’ Psalm 119: 15-16

Regents Graduation is an open to all event. If you are in or around Worcester on Saturday 4 November at 1pm, you would be very welcome to come to the Cathedral and join the celebration.
