Alpha is a place to ask the big questions of life. Connect with others online to watch a series of episodes and explore the Christian faith together.

Alpha Online is a series of weekly sessions exploring the Christian faith, run online each week for about 90 minutes and the whole series lasts for eleven weeks. Each week looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. And you are not alone as Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.

Each week you'll watch an Alpha episode that is designed to engage and inspire conversation. The episodes are typically about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?

After watching the episode, probably the most important part of Alpha is the chance to then share thoughts and ideas on each week's topic, and simply discuss it in an online small group. There's no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Join Alpha Online to ask your big questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, relaxed online environment. Listen to a short talk presented either on video or live streamed, followed by an online Zoom discussion group with a small group of other people exploring the big questions about life.

As part of Elim's national Really Good News initiative, many Elim churches across the nation are hosting Alpha Online together. They typically run these free events online via Zoom on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm - 9pm. Click here to find your nearest Elim church.
