Serious4God

Serious4God is Elim’s national youth ministry. It is committed to helping young people rise up in God and show the world that the One they worship is alive today and powerfully at work.

The Serious4God team passionately believes that there is no background or life experience that disqualifies young people from living out the potential that God has placed within them – the potential to be world changers.

Serious4God was birthed in 2003 and developed out of what was previously known as the National Youth Department. Since then Serious4God has launched many exciting initiatives that have made a significant impact on young people and youth leaders, including:

The Gathering

An annual youth conference that attracts more than 1500 young people. These events have witnessed hundreds finding Jesus, many re-dedicating their lives with fresh purpose, people being called into further ministry both in their home churches and through studying at Bible College, and many inspired to make a radical difference in their communities.

Serious4Youth Ministry Course

Originally a 9-month certificated course in ‘Applied Theology and Youth Ministry’ that is now offered as a full three-year degree programme at Regents Theological College.

Gathering MAX

A one-day evangelistic event at the NEC arena in 2007. Over 6700 people turned out and there were 1137 recorded responses to the Gospel appeal.
