Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions supersede all others and the right is reserved to amend the contents without notice.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of any cancellation, or part cancellation, or failure to arrive by any or all of the guests, on the agreed date, for whatever reason including illness, a cancellation charge will be levied if insufficient notice is given. (Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.)

The Elim Conference Centre will endeavour to re-let the accommodation for the period of the cancellation.

In all instances, notice of cancellation must be in writing or via email and will be effective from the date of receipt by the Elim Conference Centre.

If you need to cancel your conference reservation, you must inform us no later than 2 months prior to your arrival. After this time frame, 50% of the total booking fee will be payable. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a 100% cancellation charge. Non-arrivals will incur a 100% charge.

In the case of goods, services, meals or drinks that are offered as part of a package and remain untaken, no allowance refund or alternative will be made.

Termination Policy

The Elim Conference Centre reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behavior or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. Please note that non-compliance of our strict non-smoking policy could lead to termination. In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.

Payment

Payment of final accounts and deposits are acceptable by cash, credit or debit card. Cheques are accepted for advance payments or by special arrangement only.

Non-Smoking & Pets

Smoking is not permitted within any part of the Elim Conference Centre.

Please note that any offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for professional cleaning of room and outstanding balance for nights booked but not taken through early departure.

Pets are not permitted in the house or in the grounds. (Note – guide dogs are permitted.)

Damage

In the event of damage to furnishings, including soft furnishings, which is considered by the management to be unreasonable or excessive, guests will be liable to either professional cleaning costs or cost of replacement if the former is unsuccessful or inappropriate.

Departure

Guests are requested to vacate rooms by 10.30am on morning of departure. Guests exceeding the departure time by a significant period will be charged for an additional night’s stay.

Faults & Complaints

Any faults or complaints should be reported to the management at the time of occurrence. We want your stay with us to be a fantastic experience and, where possible, would wish to resolve any problems you have as soon as possible.

In the event of any major failure of any equipment, property or utilities, this will be dealt with as speedily as possible. We regret the management cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused. All equipment and property is maintained on a regular basis.
